Hello Stampers,
Vancouver has been going nuts over the past several weeks as the excitement builds at the winning ways (sorry Charlie but this is what "winning" is all about!) of our Vancouver Canucks.
After 17 long years we have made it into the Stanley Cup Finals and are well positioned to win the Cup for the first time in our 40 year history!
The potential final game in round 3 against San Jose Sharks was scheduled for our regular downline meeting so what are a group of crazy hockey fans going to do? Combine our meeting with watching the game!
Here we are in our t-shirts and jerseys cheering the boys on to victory and stamping at the same time!
How fanatical are we fans? Check out Melva's nails - painted in Canuck colours!
Not to mention our "Canuck" logo cupcakes!
The game went into double overtime but we came out ahead...it was a nailbitter! (no pun intended Melva!)

We had tickets and Doug and Ken went to the game (lucky bums!) I had to take Stephie to dance class and would have missed the 3rd period and part of OT. Turns out a dad was there who had an iPad with a 3G card so I got to watch the game! I was home in time to see the end of the game. But what luck! Much better than listening on the radio! Now all I need to do is convince Doug that I need an iPad too!! Wish I could have been at the meeting, but hopefully next time! Love Melva's nails!!
