I post several times a week and I share projects for beginner, casual and avid stampers! I hope you'll join me over on my brand new blog! Hop on over and join me for inspiration!
Every Saturday Patsy Waggoner (US) and I (Alison Solven Canada) share a card made using products in our selected suite or bundle for the month. This month we selected the products from the Harvest Meadow Collection and each created 3 cards for our monthly Border Buddy PDF Tutorial. This suite is featured in the new July - December 2021 Mini Catalogue. Today I'm sharing one of the cards from our PDF. There are only a few days left to make your online purchase and earn the free PDF.
The PDF includes...

step by step directions for the six unique cards.
We use the PDF as a Thank You Gift for the customers who place any size order at our online stores.
I used the Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper and cut out two of the sprigs using the Harvest Dies. I think they look like wheat from the prairies here in Canada. When you drive from Alberta to Ontario you see fields of wheat lining the highway and the horizon way off in the distance. I think it's so beautiful and so different from the mountains and ocean views in Vancouver.
The Harvest Meadow Suite Collection includes everything you need to create your projects and I love when Stampin' Up! presents coordinating products I can order with one item code (156280). You can also order the products in the suite separately. The Nature's Harvest Bundle includes the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set and Harvest Dies and when you purchase them together you save 10%
The Harvest Meadow Suite Collection includes:
Nature's Harvest Cling Stamp Set (10% off)
Harvest Dies (10% off)
Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper
I added a pop of Calypso Coral and embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. It's fabulous and is perfect for any cards you want to make with a vintage look. I finished off my card with the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Dots.

Had so much fun making this week's Just in CASE card using the Floral Square Dies by Stampin' Up! Each Thursday my Border Buddy Alison Solven from Canada and I take turns finding a card that inspires us from a current Stampin' Up! catalog. Then we CASE the card and love showing you how you can use the ideas in the catalog to inspire you. What does CASE stand for? Copy And Selectively Edit or some might say Copy And Share Everything.
my case card
When you CASE, you can copy it exactly, or selectively edit it by changing the colors or the stamp set or both. You can see both are Christmas cards with the same color palette, but that is where the similarities end. The concept artist card is orientated portrait style, while today's CASE is landscape. Have you heard the term portrait and landscape in relationship to stamping? You can see by the photo that portrait is more narrow and tall while landscape is longer and shorter.
Since today's card is not a traditional hand stamped card size A2, it was necessary to hand make a special coordinating envelope. The card measurement is 6” x 6 ½” and folded in half for a finished 3” x 6 ½” card. Sometimes it is fun to venture out of the norm.
color palette
The color palette for todays card is Basic White, Real Red, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive. Then I added some Gold Foil, Red Rhinestones and Simply Elegant Trim for a WOW! The pattern paper is from the Heart Warming Hugs Designer Series Paper package and provides a great background for the squares
The All Squared Away stamp set was not intended for Christmas. But you can see how using Christmas colors and the sentiment makes a great Christmas Card.
It is never to early for planning Christmas Cards. By planning a head you can enjoy the time closer to Christmas. This card with all its elements is one you would want to create for a few special friends.
If you have a large Christmas card list, you will want something clean and simple. Stop back tomorrow for a quick post for ideas for a clean and simple Christmas card.

Each Sunday Patsy Waggoner (my US Border Buddy) and I (Alison Solven in Canada) share a card we've made using one of our exclusive Border Buddy Sketches. You can use the sketch as it's presented or change up things to make it your own. There are no right or wrong ways to interpret the sketch.
I used the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. I love the images of the different flowers and they are small enough so you can add colour really quickly with Stampin' Blends, Watercolor Pencils or ink and Water pens. So many choices. I used Stampin' Blends to color my sunflowers. Here is the original sketch.
This sketch is really versatile and you can use it with so many different stamps, patterned paper and colors.
You build the final image with different stamps - the flowers and stems are two different images and the set also includes jars for your flowers!
What are your favourite flowers int he set? The sunflowers or the tulips or maybe the rose. I love all of them.
I created this card on my weekly Facebook Live on my Facebook Page - every Sunday at 10 am PT I share a card using one of our exclusive sketches. You can watch the recording here:

The Cork 12" x 12" Specialty Paper is actual cork! It's fantastic and gives a real rustic feel to your card creations. I used just a little strip of it under the Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.
The Patterns on the Designer Series Paper are so lovely and the colours really feel like fall. I choose the Misty Moonlight cardstock, ink and patterned paper as my focal colour today. I think the image stamped and left as a monochromatic look is beautiful. I finished off the card with the Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots and some Linen Thread. I like using something soft (like ribbon) with something hard (embellishments) on each card if I can.
The Harvest Meadow 12" x 12" Designer Series paper package includes:
12 sheets (2 each of 6 double-sided designs) of patterned paper
sheets are 12" x 12
acid and lignin free suitable for scrapbooking
colors that coordinate with the paper: Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Misty Moonlight and Soft Succulent
